Regulations & Long Term Plan
IBTS Statute
The European Baptist Federation – the Baptist communities across Europe, the Middle East and north Asia, together own and run the International Baptist Theological Seminary in Prague, Czech Republic.
Legally, the ultimate holding power is in the hands of a Swiss Verein (association) controlled by the EBF. The Verein established a generally beneficial company in the Czech Republic under Czech law to manage the seminary. This company has a Board of Trustees/Directors elected by the General Council of the European Baptist Federation.
The Statutes which follow were agreed by the EBF Council in 2004 and set out how the seminary will operate, what the Board of Trustees will do, how the Rector will be appointed and what the rights and duties of the Rector are.

The Seminary is an accredited institution of the Czech Ministry of Education. In conformity with all state-recognised Universities and institutions of higher education in the Czech Republic, we are required to have a Long Term Plan related to the Long Term Plan of the Ministry and to update this regularly.
