IBLA and SITE Archives Information
The Summer Institute of Theological Education, started in 1979, was a joint venture with the Rüschlikon seminary to give a short summer course of training to ministers from Eastern European churches and to send them back home with a Mini-Library and continued until the beginning of the IBTS when alternative provisions were put in hand for more extensive training of ministers in their own country.
The International Baptist Lay Academy, started a lttle later as a similar course for lay training which continued until the beginning of IBTS when it was sbsumed into the IBTS CATS programme.
