IBTS Citing Guide - DOC format [DOC, 141 kb]
  • Turabian citation style
IBTS uses the Turabian citation style which is based on the Chicago Manual of Style. See Kate L. Turabian, A Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, 6th rev. ed. Chicago: The University of Chicago Press, 1996, 808.02 T929M1996 (on Reserve Shelf).

For quick reference, the University of California Berkeley Library has created a tutorial with samples of footnotes (or endnotes) and bibliographic entries for the most common types of resources including online journal articles and websites.

  • How to cite Electronic Sources
This Library of Congress guide hopes to help writers to create proper citations of digitized materials, such as cartoons, films, legal documents, maps, newspapers, photographs and drawings, sound recordings, special presentations, and texts. You will follow the Chicago Manual of Style on which the Turabian Style is based.
