The research in the Institute of Baptist and Anabaptist Studies is conducted under the general theme of "The History and Identity of Radical Reformation Traditions". The research takes into account both social and historical context where these traditions developed as well as theological realities. Special attention is paid to Baptist history in Eastern European context where research in this field was dramatically limited during the Soviet era.
