The Institute for Biblical Studies serves as a hub for European Baptist biblical scholars. Its aim is to promote biblical research in the region of the European Baptist Federation. The Institute provides resources to assist teachers of biblical studies in EBF education institutions. At various times, conferences and colloquia are organized by the Institute to offer scholarly stimulus for PhD students and Baptist educators in biblical studies. A core group provides leadership to the Institute's projects and represents the overall interests of the study. Other renown specialists support the Institute's activities and will be listed under specific projects. The core group of the Institute of Biblical Studies is comprised of IBTS Biblical Studies department faculty. The institute is involved in the following projects that will lead conferences, colloquia, special research projects, dissertation and publications.
