Research Fellow

Dr Henrikas Žukauskas

HENRIKAS ŽUKAUSKAS has PhD in theology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Netherlands. Initially trained as an actor, he later became a missionary and church minister. He served in different roles in Lithuanian Baptist churches and is currently the pastor of Vilnius New Testament Baptist Church, Lithuania. As a missionary and together with his wife, Gilija, Henrikas created a school "Portico" in which they focused on the arts as a meetings space between the church and the society, and as a locus of interaction of faith, inquiry and practice.

The intersection of art, theology, the Holy Spirit, ecology, culture, and politics.
