Senior Research Fellow

Revd Dr Rosa Hunt

MA (Cantab), PGCE, MA (Ed), BA Hons (Theol), PhD

Rosa is from Malta originally, and now lives in South Wales with her husband and whichever of their sons is not living elsewhere at the time! She is minister of Tabernacl Baptist Chapel, a Welsh language Baptist church in Cardiff, Wales. Her first degree was in Natural Sciences, and she went on to study theology when training for ministry, gaining a PhD in patristic hermeneutics through IBTS. Her experience of living in several different countries as well as that of being a woman in ordained ministry, has given her a particular interest in language and power. She is also passionate about spirituality and its importance for all, especially leaders.

Research Interests

Biblical hermeneutics, Biblical languages, Spirituality.

Publications

Tlws Rhyddiaith in the National Eisteddfod in 2017, and the Cadair y Dysgwyr and the Tlws Rhyddiaith in the National Eisteddfod in 2018, and these pieces of work are published in the relevant Cyfansoddiadau a Beirniadaethau (2017, 2018)
