Senior Research Fellow

Revd Dr Rosa Hunt

PhD (IBTS, VU Amsterdam)

Revd Dr Rosa Hunt is a Senior Research Fellow at IBTS. She also serves as Co-Principal of Cardiff Baptist College and as minister of Tabernacl Baptist Church, Cardiff.

Research Interests

"My PhD was in the area of patristic hermeneutics, looking at readings of the Genesis 1-3 creation and fall narratives in the early church – specifically Jon Chrysostom and Ephrem Syrus. Since then I have written a number of papers in the field of hermeneutics and translation. My latest paper was on how understanding the incarnation as God’s ultimate act of translation can have positive repercussions for our attitude to (and practice of) bilingual worship."
