BSc (Wales), BD (Manchester), MA(Theol) (Manchester), MEd (Manchester), Dip Man (Open University, UK), PhD (Manchester)

Connect:

Simon has been involved in a variety of ministries most of which have had an education and ecumenical dimension.  Among others, he has served as a university chaplain in Manchester, General Secretary of the National Christian Education Council (UK) and a responsibility for the global education programmes of the World Council of Churches.  In the latter capacity, he had the privilege of engaging with people and churches in many different parts of the world.  His concern is for learning that is communal as well as individual and that is about the growth of wholeness rather than the acquisition of information.

In retirement, he serves as facilitator for the UK Centre for Theology and Justice and is involved with the Baptist churches in the north west region of England.
