Location: The Baptist House, Postjesweg 150, 1061 AX Amsterdam.
Hours: The post may be offered for 0.7 fte to full time (i.e. between 3.5 to 5 days per week).
IBTS is an international Christian organisation whose mission is to ‘equip scholars and leaders in the church for the world’ www.ibts.eu . IBTS comprises a community of doctoral research students and academics from around the world and it also delivers non-formal education through its recently launched Learning Network.
IBTS is looking to appoint a suitably qualified person to the post of Administrator for Courses, Events and Library. The successful candidate will work in the IBTS Amsterdam office as part of a core team that is responsible for maintaining the operations of the organisation. The team functions as a dynamic hub, serving an international network of staff, partners, and students to maintain an efficient, friendly and high-quality service to those involved in theological education and research.
Responsibilities associated with this post include:
Administration of educational courses including management of the Learning Network platform
Administration of events including the annual research colloquium, conferences and residentials
Administration of hospitality including the IBTS guest house
Library administration which involves working with the team that oversees the management of the library
We are looking for a candidate who is excited about the mission of IBTS and, motivated by their Christian faith, is able to engage whole-heartedly to serve as part of the core team at the IBTS office. The position requires a high level of skills and personal qualities required for organisational administration.
