Stand Against Domestic Violence Webinar

Starting date

Register

Domestic violence is a global reality both in society and in our churches.

At least one in four women have experienced, or are currently experiencing, physical and psychological violence from their partners. Disturbingly, this abuse is sometimes justified through a particular reading of Scripture.

This must change.

Join us for a 90-minute exploratory webinar to build awareness, deepen understanding, and explore what you and your church can do to stand against domestic violence. Together we will confront harmful silence with courageous conversation.

What to expect

Education

Sessions from Dr Valerie Duval Poujol and Revd Dr Francesca Nuzzolese on how churches respond to abuse, how scripture has been misused, and how we must respond faithfully and practically.

Interviews and Q&A

Hear from those who’ve completed the Stand Against Domestic Violence (SADV) course, including how it’s impacted their lives, churches and ministries. This will be followed by a live Q&A session.

Course Preview

Find out more about the next SADV course starting in February 2026.
