Learn, reflect, and act to safeguard rights and promote justice

This 12-week online course takes a human rights–based approach to Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) and equips participants with the tools to become advocates and trainers in their own contexts.

You’ll gain the skills to:

Communicate knowledge about human rights with confidence.

Identify concrete problems or violations of rights in your community.

Develop practical strategies to address these challenges alongside others.

The course is ideally suited to educators, pastors, activists, missionaries, researchers, political leaders, and anyone eager to strengthen their knowledge of human rights and freedom of belief.

By the end of the course, you will be equipped to:

Communicate with confidence – Share human rights knowledge clearly and effectively in your context.

Spot violations quickly – Identify concrete problems and challenges related to freedom of belief.

Facilitators

David Burau

Pastor in churches for 10 years with a strong interest in the lives of people in need and at the margins of society. Passionate to discover with others what the love and grace of God, which is for all people, means concretely in our contexts.

Shane McNary

Shane was a CBF field personnel ministering among the Roma people in Slovakia and Czechia for several years. He is currently co-coordinator of Great Rivers Fellowship.

The full fee is €300. Partial scholarships are available for those who come from EBF Unions that are unable to support their participant. This course will run online.
