Learning to See and Join God’s Work

Curious about what it really means to participate in God’s mission? Join us for this introductory webinar for Reimagining Mission Together.

Mission begins with a simple but searching question: Whose mission are we part of? In this session, we’ll explore how that question reshapes the way we think about calling, partnership, and presence in our communities.

You’ll get a taste of the 5-week online course through guided discussion, reflection, and practical insights, discovering how to listen, discern, and engage with humility and openness. Together, we’ll begin to reimagine mission as participation in God’s ongoing work in the world.

Who is the Reimagining Mission Course for?

The course is designed for church leaders, missionaries, and students preparing to serve who want to renew and deepen their understanding of mission today.

Missional Leadership Certificate

Reimagining Mission Together is one of four core modules within the IBTS Missional Leadership Certificate: a two-year formation track designed to cultivate thoughtful, self-aware, and contextually engaged leaders.

The Missional Leadership theme unfolds across four interconnected courses, offered over two years:

  • Spring 2026Reimagining Mission Together (Learning to See and Join God’s Work)

  • Fall 2026The Inner Life of a Leader (Growing in Self-Awareness and Calling)

  • Spring 2027Formed to Lead (The Art of Mentoring and Modelling Christ)

  • Fall 2027Hospitality and Leadership (Becoming Guests and Hosts in God’s Mission)

Each course builds on the others, integrating mission, character, mentoring, and community into a coherent and holistic vision of missional leadership.

This structure allows participants to integrate learning directly into their ministry and leadership contexts while remaining connected to a cohort of peers.

Certificate Completion

Participants who complete the requirements of an individual course will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Those who complete all four modules will be awarded the Missional Leadership Practitioner Certificate from IBTS, recognising sustained engagement in missional formation and leadership development.
